Ace of Wands
This is a "gift from God" in your career. There are leaves on the wand so we know that the new or upcoming venture in your business will be growing and being it is a gift from God, it will be a very positive and revitalizing experience. You will be able to handle the new job/career with ease and will be happy in your new place of business. (This may also indicate a promotion on the job). The gray sky can cause some uncertainty whether or not you would take the opportunity offered, while the blue creek is smooth and flowing gently indicating that all is right with the choices you have in front of you. There is a castle in the background depicting that happiness, joy, love and prosperity are within your reach.

Two of Wands
The Two of Wands is a very interesting card. Usually it means that you feel as if you are holding the world in your hands as you look out upon the world. However, I have noticed that it really is a security card. You are holding onto your current career or position for the security it brings you whether it is for the money, benefits, insurance or whatever. The sky is gray so you are not completely happy with your circumstances on the job, but you will continue to work as if nothing is wrong because you don't want to rock the boat. The purple and blue mountains of aspiration tend to be off to the side of your vision and are not paying too much attention to them at this time. You are standing on the sturdy and unwavering cement. You feel you are secure, but still unhappy. The ocean's waves seem to make you think of your current situation in positive and negative aspects. You are unsure of change. But if you look at the card, you will realize that there is another career opportunity or position that is behind you which you haven't noticed. this opportunity will make you happier and will give you more money which implies better productivity and security. |

Three of Wands
The Three of Wands is similar to the two, although there are many opportunities behind you that you are not seeing. You are busy watching others in their daily lives and thinking too much about all the possibilities and opportunities which you do nothing about. This is a mental activity or intelligence card and you should use your mind to help you make a decision about your career. Even the water is yellow! The mountains of goals, aspirations and dreams are far away, across the sea, and you aren't even noticing them at this time. You are standing on uneven ground splattered with spots of green and brown. You are trying to be stable and secure, and yet trying to figure out how you can be more prosperous. You are holding onto the one wand (one job) while the other opportunities are going on behind your back. The red and green garments worn depict his desire and ability to do a good job no matter what sacrifices you must make; however, the green abundance or prosperity part of the garment is indicating that he really would appreciate a career that would pay him fairly for his expertise.

Four of Wands
The celebration card. See all the yellow, the fruit draped over the four Wands. Notice how big the castle is in this card and how close the figures are to it. Do you see the people in the lower left hand corner. Are they friends? Are they family? Is there a wedding going on? A picnic? A feast or celebration of some sort. Perhaps a baptism or a birth? There are so many things to celebrate and these people are all having a wonderful time. The castle indicates the love, happiness, prosperity and joy that accompanies a celebration as well as the fruit and greenery above the Wands represent the fruitfulness or abundance at this time. I have usually found this card to mean a wedding or birth. Occasionally I've noticed, it had to do with a celebration of a promotion or new job with a considerable increase in salary. |

Five of Wands
The Five of Wands - competition is the key to this card. The Querent or client is represented by the figure in red and with the little cap. He is different from the rest of the figures and seems to be in the middle of all the competition and commotion. This depicts five figures fighting or competing for the same thing. They are waving Wands which indicates careers or new positions. Don't worry if this card comes up in a reading and you are going for a new job because this indicates you will get the job, just be patient and confident. Your desire as shown by your red outfit is aggressive, dominant and secure. You are standing on uneven ground although your footing seems to be better than the rest of the figures shown. The sky is clear blue showing that nothing will stand in your way. Be assured that the Five of Wands will be lucky for you and that you will overcome any obstacles that you may encounter. |
 |
Six of Wands
The Six of Wands indicates victory in securing the job you want or getting the promotion you deserve. You are the only one riding on a horse on top of a green blanket depicting abundance and prosperity. You are also much higher than the other figures in the card and the only one riding the horse. You have the laurel wreath on your head and on your extended wand. Your wand is also higher than all the others meaning success and victory. There is a clear blue sky indicating success, happiness and nothing to stop your progress. |
 |
Seven of Wands
The Seven of Wands represents fighting or opposition in a particular area of a job or personal life. More than not, it is meant for the job. You are on top of a green hill, wearing a green tunic with yellow underneath. Your good fortune or abundance will come by logically thinking over the situation. You know there will be opposition and you are willing to fight it. You will stand your ground as your feet are planted firmly and you are ready to deal with the competition. |

Eight of Wands
The Eight of Wands is a very interesting card. Not only does it stand for a scattered existence, it also stands for things being up in the air. When I see this card, I know that the Querent is usually stressed out because they are doing too many things at once. They have lots of energy, ambition and drive, however, everyone needs a rest or vacation. This could be a workaholic type of person who thinks they must get everything done on their list before someone else does it - and does it wrong! The clear blue sky is promising because once you know that you are doing too much, it is clear that you should take steps to go on a vacation or at the very least just take time off. The green mountains with house or castle indicates your fruitfulness or prosperity and the calm waters are indicating all other emotional issues are under control. Your work habits must be addressed or you may find yourself home anyway, only from being run down. |

Nine of Wands
The Nine of Wands is an interesting card because the man looks like he has been wounded already. He seems cautious and looking over his shoulder. He is afraid of something or someone. I've found that when there is a break in the suits as seen in this card with a gaping hole in between the row of Wands in the background, that there is something missing. It seems as if he needs to watch his back. Someone may be up to no good on the job. It could mean gossip or rumors. He doesn't want to get involved in any of the negative aspects of the work environment again, so he is trying very hard to defend himself. |
 |
Ten of Wands
This is another example of a workaholic. Look how the figure is overburdened with responsibilities on the job. See how hunched over he is as if he is barely able to manage all the situations the work or work related issues are making for him. His house is in the background and although houses and castles are usually lucky in a reading, he is not looking at the house. He is concentrating on his job responsibilities. There is a clear blue sky filled with hope, serenity and fulfillment and the green shrubs indicate the potential for abundance or prosperity, but he is not noticing them either. I usually tell people to rest more than usual and to get some time away from the job. Enjoy your family. Enjoy your hobbies and interests. If you do not, you run the risk of contracting a run down immune system which could start off as a cold, go to bronchitis and then pneumonia for instance. This has happened to me several times in my early twenties when I thought I was invincible and could go on forever. So I know it works. Rest and take care of yourself. Work can wait a little while to be finished. |

Page of Wands
The Page indicates the new endeavors you will undertake in your career or job. Its a person who is willing to change to make things more happy and satisfying. Its someone who will use his mind to accomplish his goals as indicated by the yellow garb. The red tights and feather in his cap indicates his desire to be successful with this new venture and how he is going to handle the new responsibility associated with the new job. The clear blue sky says it all - he will be successful in his new venture while the brown mountains of objectives and will stand in the background waiting for him to decide what course to follow for his future happiness. |
 |
Knight of Wands
The Knight indicates that you are going forward in a cautious manner and trying to decide whether or not if the path you had chosen is the correct one in regard to your career position or your intended career move. You are using your mental ability denoted by the yellow garment worn over the suit of armor depicting that you will be ready for a fight or confrontation if you have to be. You are proceeding slowly, yet confidently. The light blue sky indicates that all is going fine and with a little more confidence or knowledge of the situation, it will go very well. The mountains in the left background are perhaps aspirations and goals that are not well thought out or just in the infancy stages and should be considered carefully before charging forth with them. |

Queen of Wands
This is a Queen on a cement throne. No one is going to sway her without her consent. She is dressed in yellow and white indicating the logical manner in which she deals with things and her purity and goodness which goes into all of her decisions. She is holding onto a wand indicating that the career/job you have tried so hard to attain is within your grasp. The flower might indicate daydreaming or a desire to stop and smell the flowers more in life. It is an indication of growth, fertility and cosmic knowledge. Notice the lions heads on either side of her throne. She is not easily swayed to change her opinion, but she is fair. The light blue sky means that things will come together more after you have had some time to think about them in a logical manner. Now we come to something very interesting...the black cat. I've noticed when there are black cats, trees or birds in a card, it usually means there are secrets going on that the Querent is unaware of. At least you will be able to handle this problem since it is before you. Be aware of it and deal with it in a forthright manner so it will have no power over you. |
 |
King of Wands
The King is shown sitting on a throne with his feet firmly planted on the cement so we know that he is firm in his beliefs and set in his ways and not easily swayed. He is a traditional man (King) in that he expects respect and loyalty. He represents the conclusion of your journey through your search for a new job or for a career's meaning and security. He expects that you would use your intellect to get what you need and follow through in a very analytical manner. The clear blue sky shows the promise of your conclusion being the one you had hoped for and the little black salamander on the lower right hand side of the card may indicate that your problems and concerns have transformed themselves into very small obstacles which can now be handled. |
