"A Road Map For Living"

If there were a book in the marketplace written all about your life and personal journey, with all the possible obstacles, rewards and events to watch out for, most of you would purchase it in a minute before it went out of print. If it were printed in a different language, you'd either be eager to learn that language or find an interpreter who understood the language to read the book for you. The Tarot is such a book and the language that it speaks is the "universal language" of symbolism, just like our dreams speak to us in symbols. It is an unbound book of the story of the soul's journey through life, and it personalizes it's story to each individual that consults it's wisdom.

Whether or not we are aware of it, we read the language of symbolism every day. We know to stop at a red light, go at a green, and that a yellow light means to slow down. We know that an icon inside of a circle with a diagonal line through it means not to do something and a multitude of other symbols we take for granted every day including the very alphabet of our language and in modern technology, the icons on our computers. The symbolism used in the tarot is archetypal.

Each card depicts a state of consciousness. When the cards are shuffled and laid out in a pattern, known as a spread, they create a virtual road map of what an individual's consciousness is creating and reflecting back to them in a way of life's experiences.
