The first thing you notice is the amount of yellow in the sky and the rest of the card. Logic, analytical and methodical thought, wisdom, practicality, and seeing things objectively is a big part of this card. The balance issue is money as indicated by the figure being in between the trees in the background. Any time you have orchards, fruit or any kind of foliage, it indicates prosperity and abundance as it does in this card; however, there are some major issues or lessons with money as well.
See the Pentacles on left side of the card? They seem plentiful, don't they? Then look to the future, there are fewer, aren't there? That's because she was trying to hide the money, hold onto it or was afraid to let it go or let it grow. Any bird, outside of the black birds in the court cards, means that you have to take a risk to satisfactorily complete the issue with the card. Her hand is covered in a glove that perhaps she was hurt before in taking risks and is trying to protect herself this time. Also gloves usually mean that you are hiding the truth - or that the full truth is not known. Secrets seems to abound in the financial dealings of this card. But as luck would have it, there is a castle in the future denoting love, happiness, prosperity and joy. She is looking towards the castle meaning she will get all that good energy and the wonderful opportunities around her. Her garb consisting of yellow (her intelligence, logic, persistence and wisdom), and the red (her assertiveness, aggressiveness, control, action, ambition and passions in life) will help her get what is necessary and most needed at this time. Her hat is very persistent and bold as would be her personality and attitude.
Notice the snail in the lower left hand corner? What could that represent? Moving in the right direction at a very slow pace? Not taking risks with her finances so they grow slowly. What do you think it means? Many interpretations rely on your intuition.
