Card of the Week

Ten Of Wands

This is the perfect example of a true workaholic. Look how the figure is overburdened with responsibilities on the job or at school. This is someone who cannot delegate or thinks that he must do everything himself. See how hunched over he is as if he is barely able to manage all the situations in a positive manner. White is his first color so we know he is a sucker but is trying to be grounded, secure and stable as we see by his beige tunic. His tan shows also shows he is trying get a handle on balance. His yellow hair indicates he is intelligent, but perhaps he is just not using his wisdom for his own good. His cement foundation is again very grounding, although his feet are not planted firmly on the ground. His house is in the background and although houses and castles are usually lucky in a reading, he is not looking at the house. He is concentrating on his job or school responsibilities. If you don't see something in a card, you don't get it. So he does not have the happiness, good luck, prosperity and joy that is normally associated with castles or homes. There is a clear blue sky filled with hope, serenity and fulfillment and the green shrubs indicate the potential for abundance or prosperity in the future, but only if he starts noticing them. I usually tell people to rest more than usual and to get some time away from your obligations and responsibilities with family or close friends. Enjoy your family. Enjoy your hobbies and interests. Take a new class, go to a lecture, get out of the rut and have some fun. If you do not, you run the risk of contracting an immune system disorder which could start off as a cold, go to bronchitis and then pneumonia for example. Anemia is also high on the list of ailments that you may get because you push yourself without enough rest. Rest for even an extra half hour per day! That's all it takes.
