The Nine of Cups is a pleasant card. You are satisfied with your life and the decisions you have made. You feel contented and that everything is going well in your life. All the Cups are filled with love and happiness, prosperity and joy behind you. The figure is in white with a red cap. We know this soul has been one of the suckers throughout his life and still seems to be one, however, the red hat means that he will be pushed only so far these days and will then be strong enough to halt anyone taking advantage of him. The problem is this is a very caring, giving, loving, happy, optimistic and trusting person who would give you the shirt off of his back and many people have found that to be true throughout their association with him whether he is a family member or friend. Now though, he is getting more wisdom and realizing that some people are only his friend for what he can do for them and it is getting to be annoying. He is also aware that some family members only take energy and things from him and give him nothing in return. He will be pushed so far and then rebel; however, if there is a give and take to all situations dealing with this person, you will be getting the better end of the deal since he is still one of the best friends or family members you could ever have on your side and can be counted on in an emergency.

At this point, the intellectual color of yellow and the emotional blue color are well balanced, so he can use either to assess all situations. He is no longer “the sucker” and feels empowered by his red cap to do whatever is right for him now. His feet are planted firmly on the yellow ground, so basically, all his triumphs and results came from intellect, and his analytical and logic abilities. The blue table cloth represents his emotional and inner sensitive nature surrounding him, making his completion of his plans in a very loving and sincere way.
