This is much better than the LOVERS card, in the Major Arcana. First, we notice the beautiful blue sky in the background without clouds. So here we notice that things are going in a positive direction, will be clear sailing, harmony and peace. Of course, the blue sky also suggests that there is a lot of emotion, compassion, empathy, sympathy and sensitivity during this time as well.

There are two figures facing one another. The man is facing in the past or the wrong direction while the woman is facing to the right, or the proper direction. She is wearing white as her first color, the sucker color (too caring, giving, kind, generous, honest, everyone takes advantage of her, and she can't say no) and is covering it with the emotional and sensitive color of blue. Her head has a laurel wreath on top of it covering black hair. So even though some of her thoughts may be depressing or negative, we can assume that she turns those thoughts around and makes them very positive and fertile, prosperous and abundant. Notice her nearly covered red shoes which means her foundation is one of determination, assertiveness, passion, desire, anger, temper and getting things quickly done.

He on the other hand has the same first color (color touching the skin) as his counterpart. He too is a sucker in many instances, especially towards his significant other. He tries to be more rational and intelligent by covering himself with a multicolored tunic of yellow, black and red. Black seems to be the dominant color which portraying worry, negativity, sadness, depression and perhaps having those qualities attracted to him. The yellow denotes using intellect, analytical and methodical thought. One can use his intelligence and wisdom to see things clearly to conclusion. The red in his tunic denotes that he can call upon strength and assertiveness when he feels it's absolutely necessary. Notice the red laurel wreath on his black hair. He will overcome his sorrows, sadness or depression by being forward, assertive, and doing whatever he feels passionate about. His yellow tights emphasizes his intellectual capabilities and his use of them to get things done while his beige boots keep him grounded, secure, stable and focused to his goal at hand.

They are both on a solid beige foundation so it has a very stable and grounded for their relationship. The ever green background with a house on it infers prosperity and abundance and the house as we all know by now is love, happiness, prosperity and joy, inner peace, strength, wisdom, guidance, self confidence, and perfect relationships. Strength from the lion's head, blessings from the Angel wings and a healthy relationship from the Cadeusus.

He seems to be giving or taking the cup (depending upon your point of view) to his partner. If he is taking it, perhaps it means he feels that he should be in charge in some way in the relationship. If he is giving the cup, he is more than likely willing to give his partner everything she needs and wants. He will always try to please his partner in any way he can. This perception is up to the reader and may change while doing many different readings.
