This is the easiest of all the spreads for a beginner to learn and understand. You shuffle as usual and then draw at least twelve cards. They are placed in a simple fashion: three cards across and four rows down. The benefit of this spread is that you may answer questions regarding specific months without doing additional yes/no spreads.
As with other spreads, if the last card looks like a negative card, even though you may know it to be a transformation or change card for the better, draw more cards until you get a positive one. These additional cards are called added insight cards. I usually only pull up to 21 cards, however, upon occasion I draw more depending on the client. Always end on a positive card and a positive note. People are getting a reading for guidance and the knowledge that things will get better in the near future. They know how negative their life is already - that is why they came to you for guidance in the first place. Also explain what they can do to counteract each "negative" card so you arm them with options and solutions for upcoming. concerns and events.
This spread as with many of the others can be used in substitute of yes/no spreads if they relate to specific months. Count the first card as the current month, even if it is the last day of the month, and continue across to the second, third, etc. card until you get to the month in question.
