Interview with Theresa Popiolek
When did you first get interested in your field?
I started creating my polymer clay Faerie dolls about two years ago. They started visiting me in the dream state about 7 years ago. Sometimes I was in their very blissful realm where they were either very tiny or human size. Other times they would visit our realm as dolls telling me how a particular one wanted to look. Ten months before I actually started creating and selling these types of Faeries, I had a dream in which I attend a magical Faerie Wedding with flying Faerie bridesmaids. That was a sign of things to come. I also became a Reiki practitioner about 9 years ago. I know all the healing work assisted me in opening up to their realms.
How did you know you were gifted?
When people started responding to the Faeries I created in a very special way. I knew they were emitting positive healing energy in which I was a conduit for.
How has it changed your life?
It has changed my life completely. I left the corporate world after 20
years and took a leap of faith to do what I love for a living. I have met so many incredible souls along the way and feel so incredibly blessed. I feel such a peace and joy inside my heart!
How has your gifts changed the lives of your clients/students?
People I have done energy work on have opened up spiritually and have had some incredible experiences their souls were ready to have. People who have purchased the Faerie dolls, seem to find their inner child easier and are truly opening up to the Faerie realm and connecting with Mother Earth. Everyone really seems to be expanding their intuitive and psychic abilities with ease communicating with the Faeries I feel because the Faeries are so approachable, joyful and magical. It's so natural.
Why are you doing this work?
I am doing this work because it is my souls divine path in this lifetime, it makes my heart sing! And oh, so fulfilling.
What do you see yourself doing five years from now?
I see my Faerie dolls all around the world, expanding my creativity even more. Having a special place to do energy work where people come to find peace, healing and their own creativity in nature. Writing my Faerie books with my illustrations and photos of my Faeries. Maybe holding workshops. That would be so rewarding.
What advice do you have for anyone who would like to do similar work?
As far as healing work, everyone has the ability, just apply everything you learn spiritually everyday in every situation. Shine your light to allow others to shine theirs. As far as creating Faeries or any other creative modality GO FOR IT! Do not ever doubt your intuition, your own knowing and feelings you receive from Spirit in your heart and soul. Don't listen to
anyone who may doubt you (it's really their own fear projected onto you).
Do not give up, bumps along the way are lessons to learn and its OK to repeat them sometimes. Trust in Spirit to guide and assist you.
