Interview with Scott
By Vikki Anderson

When did you first get interested in your field?
I remember my Metaphysical Gifts as far back as I can remember. It is not something that I chose to learn, it was something that I was born with. The “learning” part, for me, was simply allowing my mind to understand and comprehend my experiences and gifts. I was extremely blessed to draw to myself a very well studied, diverse & ethical teacher at an early age. Once I understood my gifts and began using them in service to others, I could see just how valuable and important they are. I have also seen my own transformation of being and understanding. A better understanding of Spirituality, a relationship with God’s energy, my own enlightenment, growth and understanding and being in service to others and seeing miracles everyday goes far beyond interest… It leaves me in AWE!

How did you know you were gifted?
My first recollection refers back to baby food. I was born a vegetarian, so when my Mom would grab the Gerber’s with the red lid, I knew I would be sick. When she would grab the Gerber’s with the blue lid, I knew that I would not be sick and ate heartily. Back to this time I remember seeing colors around people, seeing people without bodies, spirits, and just “knowing” things that I had no way of intellectually knowing at the time. To sum up, it has been a part of me for my entire life. So, it wasn’t until I realized that everyone did not see what I saw or feel what I felt, that I began to think of myself as different or of these things as gifts.

How has it changed your life?
The change in my life has been dramatic. From my perspective, education without application is just entertainment. So, knowing, seeing how all energies are interconnected, understanding many of the Universal Laws, and connecting with the other side on a daily basis, I simply could not live as Society had programmed me. In order to be in line with my belief system I had to choose to live it in order for it to continue to make sense. I could no longer save my spirituality for prayer times and Sunday morning .

How has your gifts changed the lives of your clients/students?
The answer to this question is a diverse as the people that I work with. Let’s just say that I have seen miracles in their lives. I have seen many I work with unlock the gifts within themselves to go out and be able to help others. I have seen the relief in a person’s face, through their tears when they connect with a loved one who has crossed over. I have felt guilt leave people once their understandings grow. I have seen physical changes inside a person’s body through God’s energy during a Healing. I have seen the expressions on the faces of skeptics when undeniable and personal information has come through during a reading. I have heard people when they say, “You really understand, you really feel what I am feeling, I felt so alone, because I did not think it was possible for anyone to understand”. I have watch hope be born inside a person. I have also watched the eyes of a person absolutely light up when they realize, really realize just who and what they are. I continue to be in AWE.

Why are you doing this work?
Why does painter paint or a sculptor sculpt? It is something inside that simply needs to get out. I have a burning desire to help people. Having seen so many miracles occur in people’s lives through this work, it is a part of my reality. It can happen, it does happen on a daily basis. To know that miracles come through you, to know how impactful and life changing, or perception changing, that can be in another person’s life and then to chose to do anything else is nothing short of selfish. I do this because this is who and what I am. I do this because I love people. I do this because I love spirituality. At one point I bought into the “World’s Perspective”. I ran and grew successful “dot com” companies. I had a huge house, all the toys and a part time staff of 12 for my house (including a full time live in nanny for my dog Otis). I chose to do this work, Spiritual Work, because there is absolutely nothing as rewarding as seeing a miracle happen in the life of one person (much less seeing miracles happen in so many people on a daily basis).

What do you see yourself doing five years from now?
In 5 years I see myself in service to others, just as I saw myself 5 years ago and 5 years before that. I love helping people. The difference between then and now and the future is simply the number of people I am able to come into contact with and help. Through Radio Talk Shows I am now able to come into contact with millions of people every month. The same is true with my website and the internet. Through my books, audio books and DVDs I am now helping hundreds even thousands of people I have not yet met in person. Through book signings, lectures, workshops, retreats, speaking engagements, spiritual fairs and psychic fairs across the country, I am now able to help many more people one on one. It is my goal in 5 years to still be in service to others, but to have the amount of people I come in contact with and help increase dramatically into millions and millions!

What advice do you have for anyone who would like to get interested in doing similar work?
Einstein said, “Teaching through example is not the best way of teaching another, but the only way of teaching another.” With that, my advice would be, “be aware of who you are, what you think, what you believe, your intentions, and what you live. Because these will be the things, like it or not, that you will pass onto those you come into contact with. It is not what you say, but what you live. I once heard that “EGO” was an abbreviation for Edging God Out. There is no place for ego in spiritual work. I am just the “Howdy Doodie” or “Puppet” part of a reading. I am just the “Jumper Cable” during a healing. Ethics and Intention are two of the keys to being of service successfully. Also, just like they say in the “Pre-Flight Airline Videos”, “In the event of an emergency, put the mask on yourself first. Then you will have all that you need to help those around you. Remember to take care of yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually first. Then you will be able to be of more service, better service and for a longer time to everyone you encounter.”

How important are ethics and morals in your work?
Ethics, morals and intention are one of the cornerstones of this work. Anyone who tells ya otherwise is trying to sell ya something or is just not walking “in the light”. As we talked about earlier though, you teach by example, you teach what you live. These are not just tools for work or tools of Metaphysics or tools for spirituality. They are tools for daily life and daily decisions. A wise man once told me, “You make your decisions, then your decisions make you.” If you consistently make the choice to be ethical, to be moral, to be honest, then you will be known as an ethical, moral and honest person. There is simply no short cut.
