It was very interesting that I had listened to the weather report the morning
of the day I had to give a lecture on tarot at a local Barnes & Noble
Bookstore. The weather report was so miserable that I knew no one would be able to
attend. I begged the air fairies to let it snow if it must after I got home
from my lecture. Well, it worked! The skies were cloudy and gray, however,
not one snowflake fell from the sky until after I had pulled my car into the
garage at home. And the lecture was a success with a good gathering of around 40
participants.
The morale: It never hurts to ask.
