Ideas
by Pam VandenBulck

"The thought that every great thing that has ever happened, been spoken, or invented began first with a single idea is not a new one, but one that I don't think many people have taken to heart." -“ Chris Widener

I recently watched a new television show called "American Inventor." It was a based on the same premise as American Idol, with casting calls in major cities, featuring inventors of all ages presenting their prized inventions. It was also inspiring to see how people from all walks of life had put their heart, soul and belief into an idea they thought would make the world a better place.

"People are always getting ideas," says Widener. "Our minds are producing many new thoughts on a regular basis -“ but all too often we dismiss them. We will never know who it was that first thought of the light bulb, but dismissed the idea. I wonder who it was that first saw the automobile in his or her mind, but dismissed the idea.

"Let these ideas grow! Do not dismiss any idea as a bad one immediately. Write your ideas down. Look at them for a week or a year. Brew over them. Consider them. Let them grow-“ into something incredible that may change your life, your family, your business, your community or your world."

This week, let your ideas grow, and you will surely see many things happen in your life.

Make it a great week!
