THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:
Priceless Bank Account

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400.00. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening, whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day is deleted. You are allowed to keep nothing.

So, what would you do? DRAW OUT EVERY CENT, of course!

Well, you have such a bank, and its name is TIME.

Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you failed to invest in a good purpose. It carries over no balances. It allows no overdrafts.

Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow." You must live in the present on today's deposits.

Mark Twain said, "I have been through some terrible things in my life, some of which actually happened." These words hold great wisdom; the wisdom of knowing that there is no sense in worrying about the past or fearing the future. Your past will not change, and your future concerns may never come.

This week, instead of spending precious time and energy thinking about past problems and future concerns, take each day's deposit of 86,400 seconds and invest it wisely, for the utmost in health, happiness and success.

The clock is running - have a great week!
