Attunement is tuning in; the focusing of your attention and awareness. In every moment are infinite choices of where to focus attention. Whatever you focus your attention on becomes more a part of your experience. This is the process of manifestation. You manifest via the choices you make where to focus your attention. Your attention (intent) is extremely powerful. The primary difference between a life that works for you and one full of seeming obstacles is what you focus on.
In every moment you can focus on people, objects, thoughts, emotions, past experiences, desires and more. Most likely you are focused on more than one of these right now. The process of attunement is to tap into the healing power of focused attention. As you develop your ability to focus with attention on the choices that fulfill you, you become the writer of the story of your life instead of a victim of circumstance. The ability to choose pertains not just to your responses to everyday situations but also to develop the skills, perspective and connection with the parts of yourself who can help you in your life in ways both grand and subtle.
The Energy Medicine Cabinet website offers healing attunements. The attunements are written words combined with the power of loving intent to assist you in tuning into various aspects of yourself for specific purposes. Although this is something you can easily accomplish (and often do unconsciously), it is sometimes difficult to concentrate, to believe it is possible or to even have a sense of the things you are tuning into. Having someone to assist you makes the process easier.
There is nothing really magical or mysterious about the process of attunement or the attunements on the website. When I write the attunements I intend that as you read them and intend to receive the healing you desire, I am sending the energetic assistance to help you hold the focus and receive the healing that is inside of you. It is just me holding the focus for you across time and space as you read the words. It is not abut the words themselves, nor is it about the paper or computer. It is your intent to open to your own healing combined with my energetic support that makes it work.
I receive a lot of e mails from people who read the attunements and want to know where the actual attunement is. It is hard to believe that we can read a few paragraphs on a page, request to be attuned and receive exactly what we request. We are used to having a tangible product that we can see or touch. Or we are used to having a big ritual around attunements such as setting an appointment, waiting, meeting with a teacher, a sense of mystery, etc. We expect things of value to be complex, to require sacrifice to be expensive. Much of this need is based on social conditioning, fear, limited understanding of our own innate healing power and an emphasis on the intellect at the expense of living outside the boxes in which we have confined our creative spirits; our divine selves.
Healing is not always easy but it is simple. Health is a natural state of being which is always "on tap." The attunements on the Energy Medicine Cabinet website are an assist in the process of healing and self discovery. Self discovery is what happens as you become aware of your own abilities to create fulfillment in your life. This is also a good definition of healing. It is my hope that as you use the attunements on the website, you experience not only improved health, but also the healing of discovering who you are.
